In 2023, The Projector opened The Projector Picturehouse at The Grand Cathay.

To mark the space, a mural was commissioned across three hall doors. Each hall was named after a historic local cinema, Roxy, Yangtze, and Majestic as a tribute to Singapore’s film heritage.

The collages reflected each cinema’s legacy: Majestic featured Chinese film stills, Yangtze incorporated erotic imagery echoing its seedy past, and Roxy celebrated the golden age of Malay cinema in the 1960s.

The designs were later carried over when The Projector moved to Cineleisure.
