Au Revoir Godard was a film retrsopective of the works of seminal filmmaker Jean Luc Godard which was also part of the French Film Festviall’s Voilah fest that year. The poster served as a tribute to the filmmaker as well as a celebration of his movies. The type was chosen for its similarity to the one in his movie ‘Made in U.S.A’.
